Terms of Service

Last updated 16 August 2026

These terms govern your use of watermarkremover. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.

1. What the service does

We detect and remove invisible Unicode characters, punctuation patterns, homoglyphs and file metadata from content you submit. We also provide a writing-style heuristic and an optional text-rewriting feature.

2. What we do not promise

This is the most important section, so we have not buried it. We report results in two categories and you should treat them differently:

Specifically, we do not represent that:

3. Acceptable use

You may use the service only on content you own or are authorised to process. You must not use it to:

Where disclosure is required, preserve it or add it. Removing a technical mark does not remove a legal obligation, and using this service does not transfer that obligation to us.

4. Accounts, credits and billing

Paid plans and credit packs are billed through Stripe. Subscription quotas reset each billing period; purchased credits do not expire with a period reset. Failed processing jobs are refunded to your credit balance automatically. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and we do not refund partial periods unless required by law.

5. Your content

Text processed in the browser tool never leaves your device. Files you upload are stored only as long as needed to process them and to let you download the result, then deleted — see the privacy policy for retention periods. We do not use your content to train models.

6. Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for consequences arising from how you use processed content, including any regulatory, academic or contractual consequence.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach section 3. We may also apply rate limits or refuse processing where we reasonably suspect abuse.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product before they take effect.
