Free image tool · private by default
Remove the visible Gemini watermark.
Drop an image, cover the corner sparkle, and download a clean copy. The whole edit happens on your device—no upload, account or credits.
This removes what you can see and resets local metadata. It does not claim to remove Google’s invisible SynthID signal.
Drop your Gemini image here
The bottom-right sparkle is selected automatically. You can move or resize the box before cleaning.

Three different signals
One image can carry three different marks.
The free tool handles the visible corner badge and the local file. It does not turn a generated image into a camera original.
Visible sparkle
Removed
The selected corner is reconstructed from nearby pixels.
C2PA · EXIF · XMP
Reset
The browser exports a fresh raster without the original metadata.
Invisible SynthID
May remain
It is distributed through the pixels and is not detected or removed here.
How the free tool works
Small patch. Honest boundary.
01
Choose
Load a PNG, JPEG or WebP. Nothing leaves the page.
02
Position
Move the box over the sparkle and keep the selection tight.
03
Download
Gifi blends nearby pixels into the box and exports a fresh copy.
Before editing
Gemini may already offer a clean export.
Google now provides a visible media-watermark setting for eligible Gemini accounts. If it is available to you, turning the visible mark off before generation preserves the original pixels better than any cleanup tool.
Google says that setting changes only the visible watermark. SynthID and Content Credentials are separate provenance layers and are not disabled with it.
Check Gemini’s watermark settingQuestions before you remove it
- Does this remove the visible Gemini sparkle?
- Yes. Position the box over the sparkle and Gifi rebuilds that small area from the surrounding pixels. Simple backgrounds blend best; detailed edges may need a smaller selection or another pass in an image editor.
- Does it remove invisible SynthID?
- No. Google embeds SynthID across the image and designed it to survive common edits. This tool does not detect, verify or claim to remove that signal.
- Is my image uploaded?
- No. Decoding, patching and export happen in your browser. The image is not sent to Gifi, and the tool needs no account or credits.
- What happens to C2PA, EXIF and XMP metadata?
- The download is a newly encoded raster made from the visible pixels, so the original file metadata is not copied into it. A remote soft-binding record can still match an image independently of local metadata.
- Does the cleaned image become human-made?
- No. Removing a visible badge or local metadata changes the file, not its history. Do not present the result as camera-original or use it to mislead people about how it was made.
Gemini text is different
Looking at words, not an image?
SynthID-Text lives in word choice. A corner patch and a metadata clean cannot touch it.
