Hidden characters are a different mark

Zero-width spaces are not what Anthropic described. A Claude watermark lives in ordinary words. Cleaning Unicode does not touch that trail.

The home page will name those characters if they are there. That inspection is free.

A rewrite is the paid job

New wording breaks the keyed sequence. A grammar pass is not a rewrite. Light edits usually keep the trail.

We cannot certify Anthropic’s detector. The key is private. The words changed is all an honest tool can say.

No one outside Anthropic can certify their detector.
Older models are still in transition. Do not assume every historical Claude completion is marked.
